Large Firefighting Operation Underway
Six fire engines, a bulk water carrier, and a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) are currently on scene. Kent Fire and Rescue Service is using wildfire-specific equipment and high-pressure hose reel jets to tackle the flames across heathland.
The fire was first reported at 4:37pm, and firefighting efforts remain ongoing. The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
