Fire at Braintree Retirement Village Bungalow – All Residents Safe
Firefighters rushed to a retirement village in Braintree today after a bungalow became engulfed in flames.
Crews arrived to find the fire already well developed, but through swift and determined action, they managed to contain the blaze and protect surrounding properties.
One bungalow was severely damaged, and three others were affected by the incident. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
A spokesperson for the Essex County fire service praised the crews for their hard work in protecting vulnerable residents: “Our teams acted quickly to prevent further spread and ensure everyone was safe.”
Fire Investigation Officers remain on scene to determine the cause.
