Three-Vehicle Crash in Epsom Sends Motorcyclist to Hospital
A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with injuries following a serious three-vehicle collision outside Blacks Burgers on The Oaks Square, Epsom, which occurred shortly after 5pm on Saturday, 5 July.
The incident unfolded when a car collided with a motorcycle before hitting a second vehicle and then crashing into the front of the restaurant. Fortunately, no one inside the building was hurt, according to Surrey Police.
The driver of the first car remained at the scene and cooperated with officers. No arrests have been made at this stage.
Emergency services attended quickly, and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital. The extent of their injuries has not yet been disclosed.
Waterloo Road was temporarily closed as a result of the crash but has since been reopened to traffic.
Police appeal for witnesses and footage
Surrey Police are now appealing for witnesses, CCTV, or dashcam/helmet cam footage from the time of the incident, in hopes of piecing together the full circumstances of the crash.
“We are looking to speak to anyone who might have witnessed this collision, or anyone with CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage that may have captured all or part of this incident,” a police spokesperson said.
