Man Stabbed in Face in Beckenham High Street Attack
Overview
A man in his 40s is in hospital after suffering stab wounds to his face following an alleged attack on Beckenham High Street late on Saturday night.
Officers were called to Croydon Road, Bromley, at approximately 11.02pm on 3 August after members of the public came to the aid of the injured man. Initial enquiries suggest the assault had taken place moments earlier on Beckenham High Street, with the victim making his way to Croydon Road where passers-by found him.
Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service, were called to the scene and the man was transferred to hospital. His injuries have been assessed as non-life-threatening.
Police Investigation Underway
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:
“Police were called at 11.02pm to Croydon Road, Bromley, after members of the public assisted a man with stab wounds to the face. The incident had allegedly occurred on Beckenham High Street.
“When they arrived on Croydon Road, officers alerted the London Ambulance Service. A man in his 40s was transferred to hospital, where he remains with non-life-threatening injuries.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.”

Detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, has CCTV, dashcam footage, or any information that could assist the investigation, to come forward.
