A 54-year-old woman, Tracie Guy, was found dead with life-threatening injuries at her Beck Gardens home in Grantham, Lincolnshire, on Friday afternoon. Emergency crews arrived just before 4:45pm but could not save her.
Man Arrested and Jailed Over Suspected Murder
A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. Although initially released on bail, he has now been recalled to prison for breaching bail conditions.
Police Hunt Witnesses with CCTV or Doorbell Footage
Detective Chief Inspector Claire Rimmer said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family at this difficult time. We are grateful for the community’s support as we carry out our investigation into this sad death.”
She urged anyone near Beck Gardens between 4:20pm and 5pm on 10 October to come forward. “If you have doorbell footage or CCTV, please get in touch — it could be vital evidence.”
Family Supported as Investigation Continues
Tracie’s family has been informed and is receiving specialist support. Forensic teams are still working at the scene. Police confirm the investigation is active and ongoing.
