Police officers searching for missing Cole Cooper, 19, have discovered a body believed to be his, nearly a month after he was last seen.
Cole, from Falkirk, was reported missing after last being seen on Wednesday, 7 May 2025. Authorities confirmed that a body was found during a coordinated search. While formal identification has yet to be completed, police say the body is believed to be that of the missing teenager.

Cole’s family have been informed of the discovery, and are receiving support from specialist officers. A formal post-mortem and identification procedure will be carried out in due course.
“Our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time,” said a spokesperson from the Missing Adults & Children in the UK team.
