Faversham Train Disruption: High-Speed Southeastern Services Delayed Due to Passenger Disturbance

Southeastern Railway has confirmed that high-speed services towards London are currently disrupted due to passengers causing a disturbance on a train at Faversham.

The incident, which occurred earlier today (Saturday, 21 June), prompted an immediate response from British Transport Police, who are now on site managing the situation.

Southeastern issued the following update via X (@Se_Railway):

“NEW: Because of passengers causing a disturbance on a train at #Faversham, highspeed services towards London are disrupted.
Police are on site dealing with the incident
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on London Underground between St Pancras and Victoria.”

Travel Advice:

Passengers affected by the disruption may use their Southeastern tickets on the London Underground between St Pancras International and Victoria Station at no additional cost.

Delays and service alterations are expected until police fully resolve the situation and rail operations can resume as normal.
