A fire broke out in the early hours of this morning at Kings House on Kymberley Road, Harrow, prompting a swift response from the London Fire Brigade and causing road closures near Harrow town centre.

Emergency services were called at  just after 3:30am  on Thursday, 24 April, to reports of a flat fire on the first floor of the residential block.

The blaze, which affected a flat on the first floor, led to a significant presence of fire engines and response teams at the scene. The fire is believed to have been contained, and no injuries have been reported at this time. However, officials have yet to release a formal update regarding possible evacuations or property damage.

Due to the ongoing emergency response, Kymberley Road remains blocked off at the junction with Clarendon Road as of 3:50 AM. Transport for London confirmed that several bus routes have been affected, with diversions in place for services 114, 140, 182, 183, 223, 395, H9, H11, H19, and the night bus N140.

Residents in the Kings House estate and surrounding area were advised to avoid the vicinity during the early hours while firefighters tackled the incident. Road closures and disruption to public transport are expected to continue until the scene is made safe.

Authorities are now working to determine the cause of the fire, and the London Fire Brigade is expected to release a full statement later today.
