Major Fire Erupts

A major fire has broken out at Beam Valley Country Park in Dagenham this evening, triggering a large-scale emergency response.

London Fire Brigade was mobilised at just after 7pm to the scene near Clemence Road and Chantress Close, RM10, with multiple units responding  to the out of control wild fire.

The full scale of the blaze is not yet confirmed, but sources indicate the fire is significant in size and may involve dense vegetation or nearby structures within the country park. 20 fire engines have been sent to tackle the blaze.

Public Safety Measures

Residents are advised to avoid the area and keep windows and doors closed due to the volume of smoke visible across parts of Dagenham and Barking.

An official Rendezvous Point (RVP) has been established at Clemence Road/Chantress Close, where emergency crews are staging their operations a large number of emergency vehicle have started to arrive.


Emergency Services on Scene

Firefighters from multiple stations are reported to be in attendance, supported by local police units.

As of 19:45, there have been no reports of injuries, but paramedics are believed to be standing by as a precaution.
