Micheal Ward Charged with Rape and Sexual Assault Following Met Police Investigation
Actor Micheal Ward has been charged with multiple serious sexual offences, the Metropolitan Police confirmed today, following an investigation authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
Ward, 27, from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, has been charged with:
- Two counts of rape
- Three counts of sexual assault
The charges relate to alleged incidents involving one woman, which are reported to have occurred in January 2023.
Police Confirm Charges
Detective Superintendent Scott Ware of the Metropolitan Police said:
“Our specialist officers continue to support the woman who has come forward – we know investigations of this nature can have a significant impact on those who make reports.”
Ward is due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 28 August 2025.
