Detectives investigating a violent assault at a Rochester nightclub have released a second CCTV image in an effort to trace a man who may hold vital information about the incident.

The assault took place at around 11.45pm on Friday, 13 December 2024, at the Casino Cabaret Rooms on Blue Boar Lane. A man in his 20s suffered serious facial injuries after intervening in an altercation between two groups. He was then allegedly attacked by another individual.

Arrest Made, But Investigation Continues

Following a public appeal earlier this year, a man from Gravesend was arrested on 11 February in connection with the incident. He has since been bailed until August pending further enquiries.

Now, Kent Police have issued an updated CCTV image of a second man they believe could assist with the investigation.

Officer’s Statement

PC Lily Woodham, leading the appeal, said:

“This remains an ongoing investigation, and we are now able to issue an image of a second man who may be able to assist with our enquiries.
We accept it is not of the highest quality, but we hope someone recognises the person and contacts our appeal line.
We would also like to speak to any other witnesses or anyone else who may have been assaulted during the same incident.”

Contact Information

Anyone with information — or who recognises the individual in the CCTV image — is urged to contact Kent Police on 01634 792209, quoting reference 46/211650/24.

Alternatively, anonymous information can be shared via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.
