Three Injured in Dagenham Crash

Three individuals were injured in a collision on Rainham Road South at approximately 5:45 am on September 10.

Emergency Response

Crews from the London Fire Brigade were returning to their station from another call when they were alerted to the crash. They arrived promptly at the scene to provide immediate emergency care to an injured pedestrian.

Colleagues from the London Ambulance Service later took Overover, treating two additional individuals at the scene.

Casualty Status

The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was prioritised and transported to a major trauma centre. His condition is currently unknown. The two other patients were assessed on-site and subsequently discharged without the need for further hospital treatment.

Road Closure

Two fire engines from england/dagenham/”>Dagenham Fire Station, along with ambulance crews and a paramedic in a fast response car, attended the scene. The A1112 Rainham Road South was closed in both directions between Crown Street and Sandown Avenue following the crash, but has since reopened.

Police Update

The Metropolitan Police were contacted for further details regarding the incident. A spokesperson confirmed that police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 5:48 am on September 10 to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information that could assist the police is urged to contact 101, quoting CAD 913/10SEP.
