Heartbreaking news from Louisiana as two-year-old TikTok sensation Preston Ordone, famously known as “Okay Baby,” has tragically died following a car crash.
Preston, beloved for his adorable “OK” videos that captured hearts worldwide, was fatally injured when his family’s Ford F-150 truck veered off the road and struck a tree in rural St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, around 11:50am on April 24, 2025.
Crash Details Confirmed by Louisiana State Police
According to a statement by Louisiana State Police, Preston was improperly restrained in the back seat and sustained critical injuries. Despite emergency efforts, he sadly passed away in hospital.
The official police report stated:
“The driver and front passenger, who were properly restrained, sustained serious injuries. Preston, improperly restrained in a child safety seat, succumbed to his injuries.”
A routine toxicology sample was collected from the driver as part of the ongoing investigation.
Parents Hospitalised with Serious Injuries
Preston’s parents, Katelynn and Jaelan Ordone, popular influencers with millions of followers on TikTok, survived but were both seriously injured and are being treated in separate hospitals.
Family friend Melanie Matranga shared an emotional update on TikTok:
“Unfortunately, Preston didn’t make it. Katelynn and Jaelan are severely injured — Katelynn has multiple broken bones and a serious concussion. Jaelan underwent emergency surgery and has rods and pins in his legs.”
Preston’s seven-year-old sister, Paisley, was not in the vehicle at the time of the crash, as she was attending school.

Preston captured the internet’s heart with viral clips showing him joyfully shouting “OK” before playful activities like jumping into puddles. His videos amassed millions of views and made him a household name among TikTok audiences.
