A jury at Sheffield Crown Court has found 29-year-old Sipho Pfukani, of Stratford, London, guilty of the murder of Lazarus Makono. The tragic incident occurred outside a house party in Barney’s, where Makono was fatally stabbed.
Pfukani was charged following an investigation into the events that led to the violent altercation. The court heard how tensions escalated outside the party, resulting in the fatal attack on Makono.
Pfukani is set to be sentenced on November 8, 2024, and now faces the prospect of a lengthy prison term.
