The first photo of 33-year-old Nash Clyne, a father of three, who was tragically killed after being chased by a gang armed with a tomahawk axe and glass bottles in Acton, West London, has been released.

The Incident
Police were called to Birkbeck Road shortly after 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, 8 December, following reports of a fight and potential gunshots. Upon arrival, officers discovered Mr. Clyne fatally wounded.

Witnesses reported that he had been chased by four individuals, one brandishing a tomahawk axe, and others wielding broken bottles. Despite staggering approximately 100 meters from the High Street, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
At least three other individuals sustained injuries during the violent altercation and were taken to major trauma centers. Their conditions are not believed to be life-threatening.

Tributes Pour In
Friends and family of Nash, originally from Grenada, have been mourning his death.
Shevonte Thomas, a childhood friend, shared:
“He was a great, cool guy. He had three kids. He liked cooking and playing football when we were young. I don’t know how this could have happened. He was a nice, quiet guy.”
Carlos Davis posted on social media:
“Oh my god, RIP young bro, sleep with the angels.”
Tyrone Hypolite added:
“Just last week for my birthday we were chilling in the club. Can’t believe it.”

Community Shock
Witnesses have described the shocking sequence of events. A 24-year-old waiter who called the police recounted:
“I heard screaming and shouting from street/" title="The Street" rel="nofollow">the street while watching a film. I looked out and saw a man with a tomahawk axe chasing another guy who was bleeding from his eyebrow. The attackers were relentless.”
Another witness reported that the incident appeared to have started at a barbershop where a birthday party was taking place.

A neighbor added:
“The victim wasn’t young. He was an older guy, seen as a father figure in the community. People really looked up to him.”

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command have launched a murder investigation, with Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie leading the efforts.
DCI Howie said:
“We are in the early stages of our investigation and working to bring those responsible to justice.
“We urge anyone who was in the area or at the Front Line Cuts or Paradise Cuts barbershops on Acton High Street between 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and 4:30 a.m. on Sunday to come forward. Even the smallest detail could be crucial.”
