A man has been rushed to hospital following a serious crash involving a motorbike in South Harrow this morning.

The collision occurred shortly after 7:20am on Eastcote Lane, near the junction with Alexandra Avenue. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police, quickly responded to the scene.

 

London Ambulance Service Statement

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

We were called at 7.22am this morning (Thursday 1 May) to reports of a road traffic collision in Eastcote Lane, South Harrow.

We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew and paramedics in a fast response car.

The first of our crews arrived at the scene within five minutes.

Our teams treated a man at the scene before taking him to hospital.”

The man’s condition has not yet been publicly confirmed.

Travel Disruption

Due to the crash, Eastcote Lane was closed in both directions from approximately 8:10am, causing significant delays in the South Harrow area.

Bus routes 114, 398, H9, and H10 were diverted while emergency crews dealt with the incident.

Drivers are advised to continue avoiding the area and check live travel updates before heading through South Harrow.
