Person Freed by Fire Crews After Two-Car Crash in New Romney

Emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious two-vehicle collision on Dymchurch Road, New Romney, at approximately 6:33pm on Monday, 26 May 2025.

The Kent Fire and Rescue Service dispatched two fire engines, and crews used hydraulic cutting equipment and stabilisation tools to rescue one person trapped in a vehicle.

Multi-Agency Response

The rescue involved coordination with Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb). The freed individual was handed into the care of paramedics at the scene.

The road was temporarily disrupted while emergency crews worked, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
