Nine year old school girl left fighting for her life after collision in Sunbury
police/" title="Surrey Police" rel="nofollow">Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious collision involving a white van and a pedestrian in Sunbury this afternoon, Friday 10 November.
The incident happened at around 3.50pm in Staines Road East near Junction with The Avenue, Sunbury. The pedestrian, a 9-year-old girl, sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital by ambulance/" title="Air Ambulance" rel="nofollow">air ambulance. The Avenue and the A308 Staines Road East between M3 and BP petrol station are currently closed whilst police carry out an investigation of the scene.
