Vehicle Fire in Ramsgate Prompts Emergency Response – One Person Treated by Ambulance Crew
Emergency services rushed to the scene of a vehicle fire in Royal Approach Road, Ramsgate, on Friday evening (June 27).
Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were called to reports of a car alight at 7:56pm. Two fire engines were dispatched, and crews swiftly deployed Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS) to bring the flames under control.
A spokesperson for KFRS said:
“Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a car on fire on Royal Approach Road, Ramsgate.
Two fire engines attended and crews used Compressed Air Foam Systems to extinguish the flames.
One person was passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb).”
The fire was successfully extinguished by 9:50pm. The cause of the blaze remains undetermined, and an investigation may be launched if suspicious circumstances are found.
Emergency Response
The South East Coast Ambulance Service was also in attendance and treated one individual at the scene. The extent of their injuries, if any, has not been confirmed.
Local authorities have not reported any road closures, though minor traffic disruption occurred during the emergency response.
