Two men have been formally charged with attempted murder after a vehicular crash led to an assault in Tandridge, Surrey. The incident, which involved a collision between a moped and a car, took place on Godstone Road near Whyteleafe Tavern at approximately 12:30pm on March 9.

Harvey Manley, 21, from Croydon, and Fabion Parnell, 25, from Coulsdon, were arrested and have now been charged. Both individuals have been remanded in custody. Alongside the attempted murder charges, Mr Manley faces an additional charge of affray, while Mr Parnell has also been charged with driving while disqualified.

In a related development, Machas Tuzizila, 27, also from Croydon, has been charged with affray and remanded in custody.

Surrey Police had previously issued a public appeal for witnesses to the incident, emphasizing the seriousness of the confrontation that followed the collision.

All three accused are scheduled to appear at Guildford Crown Court on dates to be announced later. Surrey Police continue to investigate the incident’s circumstances and are asking anyone with further information to come forward.
