Number of Charged Hits 134 in London

The Met’s Counter Terrorism Command is turning up the heat. A fresh Batchbatch of 20 suspects, all arrested in London on August 9, have been hit with charges under the Terrorism Act. This raises the total charged Overover alleged support for the banned group england/palestine/”>Palestine Action to a staggering 134.

The Crown Prosecution Service has authorised the charges, and the accused have been notified by post. They’ll face Westminster Magistrates’ Court on November 24.

Met Commander Issues Stark Warning

“If convicted, those charged face serious consequences that could ruin careers and block overseas travel,” warned Commander Dominic Murphy. “Anyone thinking of backing Palestine Action should think again. Arrests are happening and prosecutions follow swiftly.”
