Three arrested after major bust
Three people have been charged following a police raid in Cuxton that uncovered a stash of drugs, weapons, and stolen caravans. Officers executed a warrant on December 10, 2025, at a site near Sundridge Hill, leading to the arrests.
Raid uncovers drugs and deadly weapons
The search revealed two cannabis grows, plus a haul of drugs including suspected cocaine and heroin. Authorities also found an air rifle, knuckle dusters, an antique sword, and an imitation firearm. Two caravans and a car believed to be stolen were recovered from the site.
Coates family charged with multiple offences
Oliver Coates, 54; Zoe Coates, 47; and Alfie Coates, 27, all from Brickfields Lane, Cuxton, face serious charges. They are accused of involvement in supplying class A and B drugs, producing class B drugs, and possessing offensive weapons. Additionally, Alfie and Zoe face charges over handling stolen goods.
Court appearances and custody details
At their first hearing on December 12, 2025, Alfie and Oliver Coates were remanded in custody, while Zoe Coates was granted bail. All three are due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on January 9, 2026.
